Photogrammetry or Structure-from-Motion (SfM) is a technique to create three-dimensional models by systematically photographing the objects, features, and/or areas and then using software to piece these photographs together. Our team aims to utilize this technique on two theaters, the Los Angeles Theater and the Tower Theater, to start. These theaters feature many of the innovations and design elements of interest to the project and offer a unique chance to compare photogrammetric models of existing features with reconstructions based on architectural drawings.
